June 12, 2019This recipe is Vegan – Vegetarian – Gluten Free – Dairy Free and Egg Free friendly.
Do you love cheesecake? Then try this delicious Strawberry Cheesecake Smoothie. Its healthy, delicious and so easy to make.
Ingredients:
1 (50g) – Small Frozen Banana
1 Cup (100g) – Frozen Strawberries
1/4 Cup (60g) – Cottage Cheese Vegan or Dairy (you can also use soy yogurt or plain greek yogurt)
1 serving – Strawberry or Vanilla Protein Powder
1 Cup (250ml) – Milk of your choice (I use Almond Milk)
1 Tsp (5ml) – Lemon Juice
1 Tsp (5ml) – Strawberry Essence (Optional if you don’t have a strawberry protein powder)
• Alternatively, for a Protein Powder Free Smoothie.
Ingredients:
1 (70g) – Small Frozen Banana (note 20g more banana)
1 Cup (100g) – Frozen Strawberries
1/3 Cup (85g) – Cottage Cheese Vegan or Dairy (you can also use soy yogurt or a plain greek yogurt) – (Note 25g more Cottage Cheese or yogurt)
1 Cup (250ml) – Milk of your choice (I use Almond Milk)
1 Tsp (5ml) – Lemon Juice
1 Tsp (5ml) – Strawberry Essence (Optional)
1/2 – 1 Tbsp. (15g) – Powdered Sugar (Optional – I use Erythritol or Xylitol)
Method:
• Add all the ingredients into a beaker and blend smooth.
• You can serve it with a splash of whipped cream.
• Enjoy.
Notes:
• Adjust the ingredients to your preferred diet so it suits your needs the best.
• You do get a vegan and dairy free cottage cheese alternative as well as a gluten free and vegan friendly protein powder.
