May 16, 2019This recipe is Vegan – Vegetarian – Gluten Free – Dairy Free – Egg Free and Paleo friendly.
These delicious Dark Chocolate and Avocado Truffles will have you eating one after the other. They are so chocolatey that no one will even know they have avocado inside of them.
Ingredients:
1 (120g) – Avocado Flesh
2 Tbsp. (14g) – Cocoa Powder, unsweetened
2 Tbsp. (20g) – Coconut Sugar or another
1 Tsp (5ml) – Vanilla Essence
1 Tsp (5ml) – Lemon Juice
1/4 Cup (35g) – Coconut Flour or 1 Cup (100g) Desiccated Coconut
50g – Melted Dark Chocolate 70% or more (I use 85% Lindt)
Himalayan Salt or Kosher Sea Salt
Method:
• Add all the ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend smooth.
• Refrigerate the dough for about 30 minutes then remove it from the fridge and form balls.
• You can dust them with cocoa powder and drizzle melted dark chocolate over, but this is optional.
• Enjoy.
• For best results keep the truffles refrigerated.
Makes about 12 truffles.
