Almond and Banana Overnight OatsSeptember 29, 2017
This recipe is Vegan – Vegetarian – Gluten Free – Dairy Free and Egg Free friendly.
Don’t you just love Dark Chocolate and Orange mixed together? If you love these flavours, then you will enjoy this overnight oats.
1 Airtight container
1/2 Cup (50g) – Rolled Oats (I prefer the Gluten Free)
2 Blocks (20g) – Dark Chocolate (I use 85% Lindt) or Chocolate Chips
1 Large – Orange (blended up) or 1/2 Cup (125ml) Orange Juice
1 Tbsp. (15ml) – Maple Syrup/Honey or another sweetener
1/2 Cup (150g) – Dairy or Dairy Free Plain Yogurt
• Mix oats and dark chocolate and place into your overnight container.
• Mix blended orange/juice and honey and stir into the oats mixture.
• Cover the oats with the yogurt and garnish with dark chocolate and some orange zest.
• Close lid and refrigerate overnight.
• Enjoy the next day.
